I sautéed the vegetables with olive oil+garlic+ginger+goji berries+sunflower seeds+soya sauce+sesame oil+red wine+vinegar+salt+pepper+kumquat juice (can use white wine/rice wine/lime/lemon juice too). | Really happy that Alex enjoyed the dish a lot! Fried wild rice with vegetables TOPPED with organic salted duck egg+fresh pea shoots+sesame seeds | So I got the wild rice and duck egg from Thailand and decided to make a fried rice with it using zucchini+mushrooms+onions+garlic+ginger+carrots+snow peas+goji berries+pumpkin seeds+coriander. I sautéed it with avocado oil+soya sauce+salt+pepper+Chinese rice wine+vinegar+sesame oil. | Very hearty lunch with loads of bite! |
I really love the organic Thai duck eggs – less saltier than the ones we have in Singapore. 😋|~.

Quinoa simmered in a Traditional Chinese Herbs Medley TOPPED with Sautéed Garlic Mushrooms+white sesame+Chinese Cabbage+Toasted Cashews | So today I knew I was going to be out the entire day at meetings so I decided to wake up early to make a take-out meal since I really prefer eating home cooked food. | I decided to experiment with dried stuff from Traditional Chinese Medicinal Halls like goji berries+melon seeds+dried “grass” mushrooms (草菇)+dried Chinese wild yam AND fresh Chinese celery+ginger to add to white quinoa, boiling everything together and adding sea salt and white sesame after. |
End result: an amazing naturally sweet quinoa- so good it can be eaten on its own but made even more complete with my choice of toppings! 😍

Buckwheat Pancake with melted aged cheddar+smashed avocado+flaxseeds+cherry tomatoes+sunny side egg with a side of banana chips | So i haven’t been 100% well since my trips to India and Thailand – seems the Indian bug is very stubborn and the spicy food in Thailand didn’t help. So since coming back home to Singapore I’ve been trying to nurse myself back to health with homemade food. | First time doing buckwheat pancakes , like a version of the French galette but heavier somehow even though I used the traditional recipe of buckwheat flour+salt+egg+water and butter for frying | Versatile enough for sweet or savoury toppings! |~

So I recently learnt from Richard and Erica @zeng_erica about grated cauliflower mimicking texture of rice. | Today I decided to do a Chinese style fried “rice” using baby oyster mushrooms+Chinese celery+spring onion+garlic+soya sauce+sesame oil+goji berries+sesame seeds+sunflower seeds | Squeeze some orange juice on the cauliflower rice and kale – a lovely sweet savoury bitter pairing with the salad.

So in love with this Toscano kale which is grown organically in Singapore – so good that it is BEST eaten raw with lemon/orange juice! 😋

I cooked this dish for one of my fave persons @alina_hertslet sometime back when we had a girly catchup | The curry is made with curry powder+mustard seeds+coriander seeds+cayenne powder+turmeric powder+ginger+garlic+tomatoes+chillies+coconut milk
For this time, I added green leafy veggies “Kailan” which worked with the curry. For the rice, boil it with chopped cilantro ( I always use herbs that are not so fresh so as to waste not) to give it that nice touch of flavour to complement the curry. |
Defo would make this hearty combo again and perhaps make it spicier. ?
