Avocado Carbonara TOPPED with toasted walnuts+lemon zest+parmesan cheese | So I’ve been wanting to try this recipe since learning about it from my Italian Friend Filippo @scurtif in Bucharest. | Finally I had the blender to make the “carbonara” sauce – avocado+egg+olive oil+fresh garlic+lemon juice+salt+pepper | For this sauce suggest to include a herb like basil or rosemary.

It would taste better not overly creamy. Only attempt this dish if you are a big avocado fan and love creamy sauces. I probably would try in future with some fresh vegetable toppings.
