Pickled Red Cabbage ā€œJanicitaā€ Fusion Edition | So I decided to make some homemade pickles as a birthday gift for one of my longest known buddies @garieongz | In this version, I used coconut vinegar+coconut sugar+maple syrup+salt+black pepper+basil+fresh red chilli( without seeds)+garlic cloves and boiled the mixture for 5 min. Then I added the mixture to the thinly shredded red cabbage and leave it to cool before bottling it. | I called it ā€œJanicitaā€ edition because of a fusion of Asian and Italian touches of toasted black sesame and basil respectively! Love the ā€œFusion Explosionā€ of flavours! |~
